Pike County's Miss Hospitality Scholarship Pageant is a prestigous competition event that showcases the talents, intelligence, and grace of young women between the ages of 18 and 24. Rooted in tradition, the program pays homage to the timeless qualities of beauty while placing a strong emphasis on celebrating the intelligence and sincerity of the modern woman. Local contestants who participate in the Pike County Miss Hospitality Pageant take on the role of Pike County's spokesperson for a full year. During this time,  they actively promote tourism and development in their hometown, contributing to the growth and prosperity of Pike County. Beyond the competition itself, the program is designed to be a transfromative experience for participants. Contestants emerge with more than just a title - they gain new friendships, honed communication and interview skills, confidence in public speaking, and a profound understanding of the intracacies of their community.

This pageant is not merely a beauty competition; it is a platform for personal growth, empowerment, and community engagement. By fostering a supportive environment that values both outer and inner beauty, the Pike County Miss Hospitality Pageant ensures that the young women involved leave not only with a crown but also with a wealth of skills and experiences that will benefit them in the future.

The winner of the pageant receives a $1,000 college scholarship, a basket of gifts from Pike County businesses, and the opportunity to represent Pike County at many Chamber events throughout the year.
